Recap TR48 Path of Chaos [2]: Six hundred children deployed to key areas of the Mu-1. Jac — not by his will criss-crossed about the ship.
Jac tries to get into his body in the half-life chamber but is blocked by Touzdae’s shields. She runs out to unblock so he can get in. But Jac is pulled away involuntarily to the children. The fifth Tau’s spirit transports in from Kurtz’s distant future. Tau mimics Jac's demeanor getting Toudae’s attention. She senses something is off and knows it’s not Jac when she hears Tau’s thoughts through Jac’s filter.
Jac is jumped to five locations looking for his future children and longing for Touzdae.
Kurtz has designed traps with traps and believes he will change Earth’s past.
Jac is jumped into a future where the two Mu’s battle each other. He asks — who is jumping him? Tu Mai, Barua, and Shisla appear. A plan is revealed, albeit vague.
Jac is sent to Mu-2 in the other dimension where their ship is transforming into Griz Ack soldiers. He is transported to the Mu-1’s generator to bathe in light and prepare for his next move.
The 600 children launch plasma that contains treated pieces that they made into space. It moves the time bubbles away from the ship and creates a corridor for forward motion.
Current Episode: The space around the Mu-1 was inverted. Meaning — that the time spheres were stopped before entering the ship. And held to the surface of the hull. Through a second inversion all the time spheres on the hull — detached. They moved almost two thousand feet away from the hull, in unison, in all directions.
The Mu-1 engaged thrusters only.
“Forward motion achieved!” Captain Tommalar exclaimed. The crew cheered, some with fists raised.
“In my extra emergency training, that I nearly forgot. I remembered paper copies are in safes in my ready room and all across the ship. Each with manual, biometric, and DNA locks for the captain only.” He stated. “No digital connected networks,” he let it sink in for a few seconds. “We regained almost all the secondary bridge controls. And we locked out the remaining emergency bridge controls.”
The three Griz Acks aboard the tug transported down below the sphere where the Lingam Egg had rested.
“It’s Tau’s spirit inside Jac’s body,” Suke said. “And there is something strange about him.”
Touzdae walked into the side healing room. The remotes for the half-life chamber were located there. Suke and Maia sat at the monitoring screens.
“Yes,” Touzdae agreed. “Tau has fused the locks from the inside of the half-life chamber. We can only transport Jac’s body outside the field by transporter. That will take too much time.” Touzdae stated.
“Tau’s spirit entered Jac’s body tissues,” Maia offered.
“Yes, Tau — programed, altered much in the same way Jax Kristos,” Touzdae swallowed hard. “Tau is set for transforming into a Griz Ack.” Touzdae concluded.
“Then it’s likely that the transporter will activate Tau’s spirit to merge with Jac’s body in toto. Both — Griz Acks,” Suke said — dejected.
“If Jac’s body transforms, doesn’t Jac die?” Maia asked.
“Yes — I fear so.” Touzdae hung her head. She raised her head and said — “There must be another way.”
Everyone including the Mu-1 crew remained wearing spacesuits. Suke, wearing an exo-suit donned with a helmet went to the bridge. Suke and the captain met in his Ready Room. She handed Captain Tommalar a written report with three blurred photographs of possible futures coming in one to three hours.
Tommalar broadcasts coded messages to all command sectors in advance of the predictions. He used squared, triple-encrypted lines.
[One of Kurtz’s teams cracked the “triple squared encryption with a rotating holographic algorithm”. It took a month with an organic AI to crack it.]
From Jac’s position in the activated generator center, he had more than enough light for his two projects. It was as the combined vision given him by Tu Mai, Barua, Shisla, and his Hivbrit* (Higher Self). He opened up his consciousness to hold all the Mu-1, the Emergency Bridge, the 600 children, and Touzdae.
“Suke,” Touzdae raised her head and looked at Suke.
“Oh my spirits, light is coming from you all over. Is it — ” Suke interrupted by Touzdae,
“ — Jac with one of his plans…” She was both excited and irritated.
The blare sounded all across the ship, followed by Tommalar’s voice: “Battle Stations! We’re under attack! Passengers follow Protocol 1-O.”
“What’s One-Oh?” Touzdae asked.
“One-Oh is stillness in place. That includes us unless we have necessary actions or duties.” Suke exhaled.
Jac flooded all the ship with high vibrational light save for twelve humanoid-sized gaps. The light covered all surfaces. It included biological sentient beings, biological life, and the Mycelium networks.
The three Griz Acks alluded contact with the humanoids. They broke through the forcefield maintained by the Gypsums. It was a trap. All exits blocked by Gypsum forcefields. A firefight began.
Ninety percent of Mu-2 population transformed into Griz Acks. The rest — scattered hold-outs throughout the ship and three untouchables. DKr. Vishop Malley / Pakaiyo was one of the untouchables.
Both Mu-1 and Mu-2 mirrored each other within contracting dimensions. The veil between the dimensions thinned. Passengers and a few of the crew in the forward observation lounges saw the Mu-2 appear as through a gauze and disappear.
Minutes later the two ships merged by one-quarter on their ventral (bottom) sides. The merging lasted ten seconds as the veil between dimensions dissolved. As they separated two swathes of lightning attacked. The two sets of lightning gripped the other in an electromagnetic embrace.
The Mu-1 the light barriers created protection areas.
Jac began an isometric body exercise with bent legs and straight arms. He reversed the flow of his body. The two ships merged with one another completely. The process took thirteen minutes.
The Griz Acks defense forcefields failed after repeated fire. The Gypsum warriors unleashed their decompiler weapons on two of the three. Those two were reduced in a matter of seconds to original elements. The elements melted and fused into the deck.
The two ships popped out into their respective dimensions. The three Griz Acks were gone.
As the Mu-1 moved out of the time-sphere field one medium-sized time sphere cycled in a spiral pattern into the ship forward of the ion thrusters. The same medium-sized time sphere entered into the Mu-2 in the same fashion.
