Through Giggling Stars and Laughing Moon I Find My Way

Echos of emotions run through my eyes Tune-o-soul bind to the whispers of silence They whistle to the drunkenness of wafting breeze Ears trained to melodies of cosmic alliance
My skin bears the chimes of cold fire My breath, manifestation of memories’ drum My heart beats to the rhythm of that fickle river My lips spell words harmonized in forests’ thrum
Distance prattle to my soul and shadow Lilting melody of life my moony mind croons Buzzing with the bees, fluttering with butterflies I walk over the clouds, when rain-threads they spool
Tip-Tap-Tip flows solace on earth Shifting sky shouldering untold pain Soil listens to the sound of petrichor Conversations of soul in nature etched
Humming earth a spectacle of night Cricket strums to full gallery — it slays Giggling stars, laughing moon the audience to the secret joys of the dark’s staged play
Touching infinities beat, where horizons meet The roaring waves throw grumbles on sand Susurrating leaves call birds to its trees I open my wounds to a snap of a hand
Beyond the decibel, below the boom Gurgling vacuum, in soundscape’s lulling sway Spoken quiet, muted noise thriving to reach
Gliding through nature’s sounds — I find my way !

Being an introvert, I always found it challenging to express myself the way I felt. Always looking for silence, solitude and un-intrusive ways to move around. And that is where I leaned on nature and her ways to feel, to interpret and communicate. My conversations with nature sounds have nurtured poetry in me the way I write today.
