Ring the bell before you leave
The sign near the bell reads:
END OF TREATMENT BELL Ring this bell Three times well It’s toll to clearly say My treatment’s done This course is run And I am on my way!
When the bell tolls, the hospital staff and everyone in the waiting room clap and cheer to say farewell.
Today it was my turn to ring the bell. I’ve completed twenty days of radiation over four weeks.
Although the staff have been lovely, I’m pretty pleased to be saying goodbye!
