Three Giddy Gals Laughing Their Heads Off
In appreciation to the lovely women in my life:
I love these two characters standing beside me. They’re very important to raising my spirits every time we get together.
The gal on my right is my granddaughter, Kathy. I have to watch out for that one. She usually has her phone on, recording everything I say. When I tell her to “knock it off”, she says, “But grandma, I’m preserving your life stories.”
The gal on my left is my daughter, Chris. I can’t get away from her. We live in the same house. She promised to always take care of me, and now she’s fulfilling that vow. We‘ve certainly had our share of life’s dramas together. I never abandoned her, instead gave up some of my own dreams to support her in some tough trials.
She gets upset with me at times. We resemble each other too much. It’s obvious to everyone that we’re related. Jeez, I am her mother for heaven’s sake. We often make comments at the same time. It drives her crazy. “Would you get out of my mind?” We have the same facial expressions and hand gestures too. She’s my doppelganger. What does she expect?
The three of us are more than relatives. We are the truest FRIENDS in every respect. We share our disappointments and laugh at the craziest things. We are our greatest supporters in times of trouble.
My life is enriched in their presence. I am blessed and happy beyond measure.
