This Week’s Prompt: 15–21.06
All things courage.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, now and forever!
It’s a new week, therefore a new prompt! I hope you’ll be as inspired by it as I was, writing about it. So far, we’ve touched on a variety of topics, from karma to psychedelics, from authenticity to ego, and, last but not least, we focused on silence and its significance to us.
I thought long and hard about this week’s prompt and eventually realized we all have one major thing in common (well, other than being on a journey of growth and sharing similar beliefs): We are all brave. Why? As writers, we put ourselves out there each day, leaving bits and pieces of our souls into our content for everyone to see and possibly criticize. We allow ourselves to be vulnerable through writing and that is something we should celebrate and cherish.
Vulnerability is scary. It leaves us open to a lot of judgment, misunderstanding and, to a point, rejection. But, despite all of that, we still show up. That, my dearest ones, requires bravery.
Medium is only one aspect of our lives. There have been other times when we were brave and may not have even realized it. For that reason, this week I want you to recall all the moments in your life when you’ve been courageous, despite of fear trying to hold you back.
I’ll leave you with a quote to reflect upon and with the encouragement to be, as always, as creative as possible:
Vulnerability is not winning or losing: It’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness, it’s our greatest measure of courage. — Brene Brown
In case you missed last week’s prompt inspired articles on SILENCE:
Thank you, Amy Marley for this masterpiece on silence and for introducing us to the Silva Method!
Thank you, Robert Meka for the needed and welcomed reminder that meditation takes various shapes and forms!
Thank you, Kira Dawn for putting so much soul into each and every word. I’m still shook by this piece!
Thank you, SentientOne for sharing the Zen story with us! We should print it and put it on a wall somewhere to re-read it each day.
Thank you, Ravyne Hawke for reinforcing, through this wonderful poem, how life changing mindfulness can be.
