This Man Believes He is the Secret Love Child of Prince Charles and Camilla
A story of incredible delusion.

Simon Charles Dorante-Day was born in April 1966 at the military hospital in Gosport, England. At 18 months of age, his Australian parents adopted him. Simon believes the royal link in the family comes from his adoptive mother’s parents, who allegedly worked in a royal household as a cook and a gardener. He is unaware of which royal household.
Throughout his life, Simon claims his grandparents dropped hints they knew the identity of his biological parents and that they were of high status. When Simon’s adoptive grandmother was on her deathbed in the hospital, he asked her for more information about his birth mother. He showed her a picture of Camilla and Prince Charles in a newspaper and asked “Is this them?”. She replied “Yes”.
Simon believes his grandparents were entrusted with him by the royals and subsequently adopted by their daughter and her husband. He even alleges to have had met Charles and Camilla, he claims to have a memory of meeting a man in a naval uniform and a woman who he describes as “about Camilla at the time” (the lady he met resembled Camilla). He met this mysterious couple whilst his adopted parents waited outside the house.
The government changed his eye colour
Mr. Dorante-Day makes the extraordinary claim that doctors have surgically altered his eye color. According to Dorante-Day, he had blue eyes as a child, but when he was eight years old, they became brown following a painful surgery. He doesn’t blame his alleged father, the Prince of Wales for this, he argues the couple was under a lot of pressure to stop anyone from recognizing him. So they changed his eye color because his blue eyes would have given him away. He also believes that the royal couple may have been completely unaware of the medical procedure, Simon said “The government's place in this is easily overlooked”.
He states his eyes were not the only thing that changed to hide his royal identity. According to Simon they operated on his teeth too. When he was 15 he describes having his teeth ground down whilst being tied to the dentist’s chair. He believes this too was done to conceal his true identity.
Sounding a bit like the plot from an old James Bond movie yet?
Reporters from ITV spoke to doctors at Moorfield’s eye hospital in the U.K. The eye experts had never heard of such a procedure and also highlighted how dangerous it would be to attempt it, especially on a young child. They note that this risk would be even more significant in the 1970s, supposedly when the surgery occurred.
Apparently, Simon and his children strongly resemble the royal family
This is Simon and his would-be father.

This is his daughter being compared to a young Queen Elizabeth.

This is his son being compared to Prince Charles

Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words.
The odds of a King Simon look low
Unfortunately for Simon, the facts show he is unlikely to ever inherit the throne or that he has any legitimate claim. First, Prince Charles would have been about 16 when Simon was born. It seems a little young for members of the royal family to be carelessly procreating, don’t you think?
Second, Charles and Camilla had not met in 1966 (Simon’s birth year), royal biographers recognise 1970 as the year they first met, at a polo match.
Finally, the holes in his story are big enough to park a truck in. Consider his claim that his adopted grandfather had received an Imperial Service Award, there is no record of such an award being given to his grandfather. Or his claim that his grandfather served with Lord Mountbatten. Again there is no record of this either.
Despite the weight of evidence against him, he is still taking his claim to court. Simon, who is representing himself, is asking the court to force a DNA test on the royal family to prove his theory. The judge is exceedingly unlikely to rule in his favor. Many before him have tried and failed.
