This Is Why You Should Not Take A Long Break From Writing
You may lose a lot of things…
One of the major mistakes new writers make is that they take a break after publishing a couple of stories. Maybe, they are frustrated because of not being able to make enough money, or maybe, they have some personal issues. Whatsoever the reason is, the fact is that you should never take a long break from writing.
We are what we repeatedly do.
It is absolutely correct. If we repeatedly take a break from writing, then we will give followers or readers a reason to unfollow us or to forget about us. So, let’s not take a very long break. It is okay if you are not making enough money and are getting frustrated every day; you should be consistent because this is the only way to achieve success in the writing industry.
You May Lose Your Ideas
You will miss the things that mean a lot to you.
When you were regularly posting articles, you had a lot of ideas in your mind. The chance is that you will lose all of them and will have to start everything from scratch. In the same way, your readers would forget what you had written and what was most inspiring about you.
You May Lose Your Money
Give yourself a break but don’t let it be too long.
It is true that you will lose money because the number of reads or views will decrease drastically. I strongly recommend you to publish at least five stories per week so that readers remain engaged. It is also important to gain new followers every month. If a follower does not see any activity on your profile, then they may consider you a good for nothing person and may decide to block your profile. This will eventually impact your earnings.
