I Just Made Over $100 And Passed 4,000 Followers
Here are the main lessons I have learned…
I have been taking this site seriously. In the beginning, I made only a few cents daily, and the time I used to spend on this platform was 4–6 hours a day.
Besides this profile, my other profile (K-Star) has over 1300 followers. A total of 4100 followers have been gained within three months. Isn’t it wonderful? For me, it is one of the biggest achievements so far.
A person who begins with zero and dares to be different can definitely make a difference.
With this idea in mind, I began self-publishing everything. Currently, I own two publications (Write To Inspire and Love In The Air). Both have only a few followers, but my expectations are high. Here is what I have learned so far.
1. No One Can Work Alone
The main reason for creating another profile was to get a friend involved. They help me choose the best topics and write a few posts weekly.
I strongly believe that no person can work alone and that we need to support each other to survive on this competitive platform. Besides getting my own things done, I spare time to read and clap on the posts of other writers especially the new ones.
2. Write Anything But Be An Influencer
It doesn’t matter which topic I choose, I always try to influence the lives of other people. For example, I write personal stories to make people know how important it is to have daughters and how to respect them. Similarly, I write money-making stories to help newcomers earn sufficient money.
You can do the same. Check the stories of the best writers to know how they are influencing others. Follow their footsteps and keep working hard. Sooner or later, you will be one of them.
3. Clickbait Titles Aren’t Bad
Some people think that clickbait titles are good for nothing. However, my thoughts and opinions are entirely different. What I believe is that clickbait titles must be written.
70 percent of the readers come to your stories after checking the title, and only 30 percent of them will actually read the content. Clickbait titles are an excellent way to engage people, but this does not mean you are free to write any stupid thing. Make sure your story is as engaging as the title.
4. Treat Your Followers With Love
For me, every single follower is important and I try to treat them with love and care. I receive a lot of private messages daily regarding how to get more and more followers and how to start making enough money.
I spend two to three hours responding to all of them. This is because I want to be a helping hand. If I am receiving 20 to 50 followers daily, then it is only because of the support and love of my followers. I am thankful to all of you.
5. Money Is Not A Problem
Money has not been my target since day 1. The target was to be different and unique. I have recently completed my third month and the money I have earned so far on both of the profiles is $120.
I have probably become one of those 7 percent writers who make $100+ by writing at least one story daily. This is not the end of the story. I have made my mind to keep working hard for a few more months or until I start making $1,000 per month.
Final Thoughts
The best way to grow on this site is to keep the party going. You should post something daily and interact with everyone who leaves a comment or private note on your profile. Stop ignoring your readers or followers. Also, don’t make money your target as a beginner. You may not be able to earn sufficient for the first few months because working on this site is a long-term game.
