This Is My 100th Article Baby!

Already so many pieces, I’m so grateful!

I can’t believe it! If you would’ve asked me a few months ago that I was going to start a writing journey, I would’ve not believed you. I have always wanted to write about everything that wanders in my thoughts and I also wanted to use it as a reflectional hobby.

As my username says, I think I do stand true to it...I just write what my heart and mind feels that day! It can be so random. I think poetry has a good percentage of my writings and almost all are free verse. I have been experimenting with new forms and of course, I want to write better quality pieces. I have seen writers here with such elegant and eloquent pieces that are truly amazing. They can be a guide for newbie writers just like me!

I recently shared a post in which I said that I failed my 30 Day Challenge and B.R. Shenoy mentioned in a comment that I should be proud of my work. This had me reflecting and I do have to honestly say that I am proud of all of my 100 pieces. Of course, I would also like to tweak some articles but in the end, I am proud. I am also blessed that I am able to do this and share it with others. I still have to pinch myself here and there…It has been an amazing journey!

If you ask me which one of the 100th pieces would be my favorite…I would choose the following.

It’s a piece so close to my heart and I first had doubts about writing about it because I don’t normally share such deep thoughts. In the end, I decided to do so because that was one of my main goals: to use writing from a reflective perspective. This hobby has helped me so much! I think that communication can heal, by any means. I also think that writing your thoughts and reflections are easier on paper (or in this case, screen) but it can also lead to expressing them with the people around you. So it's a great practice I might say!

I have grown so much thanks to this new hobby and even though I am just a rookie here, I feel accomplished and can’t wait to see what is waiting in the near future. I am just so grateful!

I hope there is more and more to come! Thank you all who have supported me and given me exceptional feedback, it means so much to me. I hope we all thrive in this beautiful community.
