This Is How You Make Your Curiosity and Sadness Work For You By Enjoying Every Moment
By Making Conscious Choices When Mind Wanders

Today I am prompted to write because of these three external circumstances/events.
- The first part of the collage is shown above, wherein you see a deer, captured by my front porch camera in the night.
- An article written by Dr. Gabriella Korosi titled Books We Write Together Create a Positive Impact In Our World
- An article titled “Embrace the Purpose: A Poem” by Garima Sharma
Here is how I was affected by the first external circumstance/event:
A couple of days back my rose flower was missing and I was expressing to my husband about how our camera does not capture the culprit. Hey! it is OK, it is only a rose. I agree with you. Today as I saw a notification of a movement at midnight from my porch camera. Here are my thoughts and feelings:
Happy like a curious inventor Yay! now I know who is the culprit.
Sad to see my Hibiscus plant eaten away. But I chose the second E of my “EGGSTEM” living model to conquer the sadness.
Want to know what is the second E? Please check the following article or/and read it till the end:
I chose to take a picture of the remaining plant after the deer had eaten away many leaves. I moved my body to take the picture, thereby living the first E-Exercise. Once I took the picture, I found a bud remaining on the plant. I chose the first G and said “Thank you God and my lovely deer for leaving the bud. I don’t know if you will eat it tomorrow. But I am choosing to give you my love with gratitude.”
Coming to S, Immediately after I took the picture I said to myself:
“Hey Lalitha, just move to your laptop, write about it. It is not as easy to listen and follow your mind immediately, turn on the laptop, and write. I was distracted by the photo gallery on my cell phone. I chose to be T ( Time Affluent) in listening to my soul’s desire. I played with the pictures I took, cropped them, and prepared a collage.”
I used the Medium phone app and uploaded the picture of the collage with the intention to write for the “ Six Word Photo Story Challenge”. I logged into my laptop and used the browser to write my story/article.
I felt that the photo may not meet the requirement of the Six Word Photo Story Challenge” publication. I chose to write for a different publication.
Do you see how your thoughts and feelings can act as a barrier when you get inspired? It does most of the time!
Just by making a choice to share my thoughts and feelings in a publication, I am Socially connecting (S) with readers and authors.
Now comes the second external circumstance/event
I suggest you read the article to understand how you can evolve as a writer.
Books We Write Together Create a Positive Impact In Our World
I could relate to the following verses from this article and I highlighted them.
I write to create stories, share my experiences, have fun, and build a community of like-minded people. It is great to hear back from other people to find out how my thoughts are similar or different from their thoughts. It is always good to learn and hear ideas and experiences from others. I love the feedback from other writers and readers.

Coming to the third external circumstance
Now I invite you to read a wonderfully crafted poem, which is the third external circumstance/event that I quoted “Embrace the Purpose: A Poem
Here again, I am quoting what jumped at me and I highlighted:
So, dear friend, remember this truth, Your experiences hold treasures untold. Seek the lessons, embrace them with verve, For your purpose awaits, a story yet unfolds.
Lalitha Brahma I appreciate your passion for bringing passion to whatever you do. Your acronym EGGSTEM is a great way to approach life. Thank you for sharing. Read on to be inspired.
From the Poem Embrace the Purpose: A Poem by Garima Sharma
I hope as you read, you sensed how I used the second E of the Acronym EGGSTEM that I live by “Enjoy Every Moment”. The entire process of watching the camera capture the deer eating my hibiscus plant, processing my thoughts and feelings, writing the story, reading and highlighting fellow authors’ stories, and completing my story writing was M ( Meditative).
Most importantly I would like to thank Tony Stubblebine for helping people like me to explore writing, learn with fellow authors, and get out of our comfort zone when writer’s block hits me. I would like to share the following phrase that impacted me and I highlighted.
By telling your story, by taking the time to put it down into words, you’re doing an incredible act of service. When you share your story — and when we’re able to connect your story to another reader — something special happens: Your wisdom becomes their wisdom.
The above quote is from the following article:
