We recently explored 3 secrets to boost your confidence. If you missed them, you can discover the secrets here.

Today, we’re looking at a cool new secret to boost your confidence.

Because in uncertain times you need more confidence than ever to reach your goals and dreams.

Using this secret can change your life — personally, professionally, and financially.

Let’s get started!

If you’ve been wondering how to get your message seen and heard, with so many loudmouths littering the landscape…

Feeling like, ‘When is it going to be my turn?”

I hear you.

It doesn’t have to be like that.

You don’t need permission to share your message. You need confidence.

Here’s the good news:

Confidence is a skill you can learn

It can be developed, one day at a time.

As you build up your confidence muscle, it gets easier to share your message — and even have fun doing it. (What a concept!)

Here’s the best part

If you worry that gaining more confidence will turn you into a jerk, remember that egomaniacs never worry about being egotistical or selfish.

Your concern proves that you’re hard-wired for kindness and compassion.

Relax.

Confidence will free you to share your truth, love, and wisdom with people who have waited their entire life for you to show up.

Pro Practice: The Write Stuff

Step 1 — Prepare

Find an attractive notebook or journal to use only for this practice. Keep it by your bedside with a pen.

Step 2 — Ponder

Before going to sleep, note down at least three things that you did right today.

Your wins can range from “I remembered to eat breakfast today!” to “I signed a publishing contract with Hay House” … or anything in between.

Each victory matters, regardless of how large or small it seems.

Sometimes the best you can do is stay in bed all day. Count it as the win that it is. You’re practicing self-care. That’s huge.

Step 3 — Peace

Finish up your list by writing, “I did a good job today!” or something equally encouraging.

Go to bed knowing that you’ve programmed your unconscious mind to build up your confidence while you sleep.

How easy is that?

Why can this practice change your life?

“The Write Stuff” counteracts your brain’s bias toward remembering bad stuff and forgetting good stuff.

Left to itself, that negativity bias keeps you so filled with self-doubt, the only thing you’re sure of is that whatever action you take — it will be wrong.

By contrast, when you honor your accomplishments daily, you build up a baseline level of confidence rooted in real-world achievements.

Nothing and no one can take your triumphs away from you.

This practice gives you a foundation of faith in yourself that’s essential to being an effective coach, healer, writer, speaker, podcaster, video-maker, or media superstar (hey, why not?).

Here’s the bottom line

No one can believe in you more than you believe in yourself.

As your belief in yourself deepens, more people will believe in you.

The more people believe in you, the more people you can help.

That’s how you make the difference that you — and only you — can make.

You’ve got this, my friend.
