There’s Something About Midnight And Midday
A time of silence, magic, and insane creativity

The Sound of Silence
I’ve always been drawn to the silence of midnight and midday. Ever since I was a child, I found that these moments of the day held a certain magic that I couldn’t quite explain. As the world slows down, a certain mysterious quietness lingers in the atmosphere.
As I grew older, my love for midnight and midday only deepened. At midday, most people are working and at midnight, most people are sleeping. The world gets so quiet you can hear the sound of silence.
There’s a peaceful energy in the air at these times and a stillness that allows me to connect with everything in a deeper way. It creates space for deep spiritual reflection.
Midnight especially opens for me a door to a much deeper level of consciousness and awareness, making it perfect for spiritual practices like prayer and meditation.
There is nothing like a midnight prayer session that makes you come out like a spirit warrior. A short meditation session afterward always helps me tune in to the subtle voice of Spirit, which can take many forms: the voice of God, the voice of my intuition, or simply the sound of my breath. It’s hard to hear these things without silence.
When there is nothing but the sound of silence, you are able to hear the call of creativity.

The Call of Creativity
I’ve always been a creative person, but I found that my creativity flows most freely around midnight and midday. Working at midnight has become a favorite time for me to work. There’s this sense of peace and stillness that is conducive to creativity.
Being able to hear my own thoughts more clearly always inspires new ideas and insights. I can fully concentrate on writing without any interruptions. The peacefulness of the time allows me to fully focus on my work without any distractions. Then I’m able to unleash my full creativity and let my imagination run wild.
I’ve done most of my most important work at midday and at midnight. I wrote most of my book ‘100 Billion Souls’ at midnight. Whenever it felt like I needed guidance or inspiration on a difficult chapter, I would put it aside and return to it at midnight. I can always count on that time of the night to help me move forward.
The quiet of the night or day allows me to enter into a flow state where my ideas can effortlessly flow onto the page. When the world is working or sleeping, I can fully immerse myself in my thoughts and ideas and bring them to life.
But it’s not just me who prefers to work at night. Many artists, writers, and creative types prefer to work at night when the world is still and quiet.
There’s a certain magic about the times.
The peace and quietness allow for creativity and inspiration to flow so they can fully immerse themselves in their creative process.
When there is nothing but the sound of silence, you are able to hear the call of creativity.
The Magic of The Times
Both midnight and midday have symbolic significance in many cultures and traditions. In many cultures, midnight and midday are seen as particularly auspicious times with spiritual or mystical activity at a high. It is thought to be a time when the veil between the physical and the spiritual is thinnest, making it a popular time for ghost stories and supernatural events.
If you’re a curious seeker like myself, midnight or midday is a time to be seeking answers and when you seek, you often find what you are looking for.
Midnight and midday are considered special times because they mark the exact middle of the day and the night, respectively.
Midnight is often associated with a sense of mystery and darkness, as it is the point at which one day ends and a new day begins. It is seen as a time of introspection and reflection, as it is the middle of the night.
On the other hand, midday is often associated with brightness and clarity, as it is the point at which the sun is at its highest point in the sky. It is seen as a time of productivity and activity, as it is the middle of the working day for many people.
Where midnight is for getting inspiration and downloading creative ideas and insights, midday is the time to bring those ideas to life.
The silence, the creativity, and the magic of the times make it all possible.
