There’s a media art light show at Korea’s former presidential office and residence

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism staged Cheong Wa Dae’s media facade display, “Twelve Lights,” which began on Thursday, 28 December 2023, to commemorate the first anniversary of the former presidential compound’s public opening.
The five-minute animation delves into the legacy of previous presidents and tackles themes of agony, conflict, balance, and harmony.
Additionally, the facade is illuminated by a touching five-minute display that features New Year’s wishes submitted by 150 participants who registered for the event.
Greetings range from general hopes for the development of the country to more intimate wishes for the health of one’s family.
The culture ministry emphasizes that everyone can enjoy the media display, even outside the Cheong Wa Dae gates.
The media facade exhibition “Twelve Lights” is set to run through 5 January 2024.
Screenings will take place 12 times every 10 minutes from 6 to 8 pm every day, except for 2 January.
You do not need to make reservations so why not swing by for a quick look? :’)
