There Are Going to Be Less Sexual Assault Victims in Coming Days

And it’s not for the reasons you think.

No, it’s not because rates of rape will drop.

It’s not because women’s consent will suddenly be respected.

It’s not because all of the misogynistic, entitled preditors will become enlightened all at once.

It’s because, with abortion now illegal for rape victims, some of those same victims will die.

History has already shown that women will continue to seek out abortions, whether they are legal or not. When abortion is not legalized, those women must seek out methods which are unsafe and potentially fatal.

In entire countries where abortion is still illegal, as well, this is the truth of the matter — women will continue to try, and more of them will die because of the unsafe conditions.

Because, as we know to be true for many, freedom is worth dying for. Being in control of our own lives and our own destiny is worth dying for — legal or not.

We will not become idle and admit defeat. We will still pursue the human rights we have to make choices for ourselves and consent to what happens to our bodies.

That’s one way to reduce the stats — murder the survivors with legislation.

The stats for rape have always been catastrophically high, and there’s a real need to reduce those numbers.

Killing off the victim by forcing her to seek out a life-ending abortion is certainly one way to ensure another number doesn’t get added to the rape bucket!

Now a bunch of privileged white men in power can breathe a small sigh of relief, because their reported stats for rape aren’t likely to grow as high as they could have been, were she alive for her number to be included.

How convenient that the problem is taking care of itself.

Don’t see, don’t tell.

Do see? Still, don’t tell.

Our lives don’t matter, and we are dying because of it.

We have lost the last 50 years of ground we’ve tirelessly worked towards for decades — decades before I was even born.

The message remains loud and clear to women today :

“We don’t give a f*ck about your lives, we only care about having control over your bodies.”

And while there exists not one single law telling men what they are not permitted to do with their bodies, there is a multitude of laws restricting women’s rights to theirs.

But, you know, we don’t need feminism and inequality clearly don’t exist.

Right?

We scare them, and so they are desperately trying to reign us in.

Their efforts are futile, but they’ll keep trying.

Because they long for the days when a woman’s place was at the home, rearing children and cooking dinners that are ready for exactly 5:30pm on the dot.

It was a lot more convenient for them when that was our place, and we not only knew it, but accepted it.

It was a lot more convenient for them when we submitted to that reality and kept our opinions to ourselves.

And now we’re just complicating matters by saying “no" to sex with our husbands and asking ridiculous questions, such as, “But why don’t I have equal rights to him, when we are both human?”

We’re just an inconvenience they’re finding difficult to control, and so for that reason they’re are forcefully stripping us of our rights.

Because we scare them, and rightfully so.

Women are a real force to be reckoned with. They should absoltuely be afraid of what’s to come.

Final word.

Our women are being sentenced to death.

There will be less of us in the coming days, because we will pursue unsafe abortions in dangerous conditions in order to regain control of our lives.

There is greater distress given to the prospect of women having a say over their own bodies than there is the risk of those same women bleeding out from botched abortions.

We see where we stand.

We see that you hate us.

That’s not breaking news to us.

But we will not stop fighting for our rights over our bodies.

Because our bodies are none of your f*cking business.
