Theme Song

A call to support and uplift each other as writers

Each of us a rightful place

That we have, an endless joy

Thinking, knowing, writing on

True as dawn, the real mccoy

Struggling some days as we toil

Words will skitter, flee, escape

As we grasp for meanings worth

To reveal our inner scape

Other days with ease produced

One, then two or more create

With our Muse at shoulder stands

Harbinger of hopeful fate

But reality intrudes

Inhibiting our Muse’s stance

Despite intimidating pose

It Rips and shreds, a gleeful dance

Fortified at times we are

Solitary life well known

Silent stillness can’t disrupt

Intended path, the seeds are sown

Yet other days reflection feared

Our image but impostor be

Our writing trembles on the page

Of what we dream, we cannot see

And thus imperative it is

To support, give each their due

And strengthen all who venture here

And gift them confidence anew
