The Unsaid Rule of Love
A poem
What if there was a rule That once two people fall in love They cannot fall out? What if there was an invisible stamp Irremovable, showing no sign of doubt?
What if we were actually obliged to be together In sickness and in health Till death do us apart Or even beyond the earthly ties Without any scope of depart?
I want to love you like This unsaid rule still exists With the surety which sets amidst The changes we must embrace For there is no way To think of love as a race
We will need no reason To think of our bond As changing as the seasons When the bubble of fantasy would pop out We still would not need to doubt As it will be the universal law There will be perfection in the flaws
Let this rule prevail Let us not let our hearts ail Let us take for granted Not each other But Our loves.
