The U.S. Supreme Court Is an Anti-Vaxxer and Hates Muslims

A meditation on a monster of a court

The ruling that denied President Biden and the U.S. Department of Labor (via OSHA) the ability to protect workers in the workplace was one of the purest political votes ever in the history of the Court.

It fits with the trend that overtly began with Bush v. Gore in 2000. That decision by the Court was a red flag but most of us ignored it. We should have pressed for reform then while we had a chance. Now we are in for a long period of fanaticism as the rule of law.

In the latest battle for the country (all of the Court’s decisions is some form of judicial guerilla warfare now), the Court basically decided that because you can get infected with Covid-19 in the workplace and outside the workplace, the government can’t do it.

It is, as a constitutional scholar, Aderson Francois noted, not logical. The Court, even admits that Covid-19 is a workplace hazard but still won’t allow President Biden to protect workers. The migrant workers of California and the meatpacking workers are the purest examples of the evil behind the opinion.

And here’s what the Court really said to Joe Biden: We know what you are trying to do. You are trying to use the law to impose a vaccine mandate. We aren’t going to let you do it. We know it is legal but we can stop you, so we will stop you. And you can’t do anything.

It is interesting to note that it was Joe Biden who once said that what was wrong in society is the various political actors respond to each other based on what they think is the motive of the other. Biden just received more proof of this. The conservative majority thinks Biden was trying to impose a vaccine mandate (not legally protect workers by law from a hazard in their workplace) so we must stop him. We will stop him. They did.

This is an awful court. Savage on some level. It has never really been much of a court in its entire history but it is especially awful now.

This same court allowed the previous President to ban Muslims from entering the U.S., even though the Court knew he was banning Muslims because that President said he wanted to ban Muslims. That President said so. It’s illegal to do that under American law.

Yet, that administration, after two attempts, was able to get the Court to endorse a Muslim ban in America. And in a counter spin, Justice Roberts, said that what that President tweeted and said about Muslims doesn’t matter. He can do it, so we must let him.

Savage.
