Summary

The article presents a reflective "God Quiz" based on three questions God asked Adam and Eve, aimed at helping Christians assess and improve their spiritual walk.

Abstract

The "Three Question Quiz To Keep You Winning as a Christian" is a spiritual exercise rooted in the narrative of Genesis 3, where God engages Adam and Eve after their fall into sin. The author, Richard, emphasizes that God's pursuit of humanity is evident even after sin enters the picture, and He asks profound questions that are still relevant today. The quiz consists of three penetrating questions: "Where are you?", "Who told you...?", and "What is this you have done?" These questions are designed to prompt self-examination in various aspects of life, including spirituality, finances, health, and relationships. By answering "Where," individuals can locate themselves in their journey with God and in life's circumstances. "Who" addresses the influence of external voices and the importance of listening to God above all. "What" confronts personal responsibility and the need for honest self-assessment and confession of sins. The article encourages readers to use these questions as a template for continuous growth and victory in their Christian faith.

The Three Question Quiz To Keep You Winning as a Christian

When God taps us on our shoulders, He asks questions needing answers

What separates Christianity from other religions is in the first book of the Bible. Even now in the year, we are living, God still does this act.

What is it that God does, which we find in no other religion?

We find this amazing act God does in Genesis chapter three. When Adam and Eve sinned, God came to them where they were hiding. And He talked with them, asking questions.

And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. (Genesis 3:8 NKJV)

There it is: God pursues us. This is a beautiful thing to know; when we are His, God continues to walk with us even when we fall. Hallelujah!

When we fall prey to temptation, God most likely will ask us the same three questions He posed to Adam and Eve.

In these scriptures are God’s first recorded questions He asks Man.

I want to introduce you to “My God Quiz” for more wins in your Christian walk.

I do not mean to lessen the impact of this first sin separating us from God. Even so, the dialog God had with Adam and Eve pacts a wallop for us today.

Don’t all us want to live a winning life for our Savior? I do, and I’m sure you do as well.

These three questions have fascinated me since reading the Bible.

Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9 NKJV)

And He said, “Who told you that you were naked?… (Genesis 3:11 NKJV)

And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?… (Genesis 3:13 (NKJV)

The most direct questions are the easiest to understand. And God is the Master of asking penetrating questions.

If we want to live an overcoming life, we do well to answer His questions.

God asks, ‘Where?

You see, God desires for us to understand where we are in our walk with Him. Reality is our friend. Do not be afraid to reveal to God your position. He knows where you are better than you do; yes, God does. Although this question is spiritual. We can use the “where” question to better understand ourselves.

  • Where am I in my walk with God?
  • Where am I in my finances?
  • Where am I health-wise?
  • Where am I in my marriage or my friendships?

God desires we prosper in all these areas, so it is valuable for us to do a “where” checkup.

God asks, ‘Who?

So many voices in the world. Who has your ear?

When we harbor doubts in our minds, it will change our winning ways for sure. Remember, Adam and Eve. Satan placed doubts in their minds about what did God say. We suffer today because doubt played a significant role in Man’s fall.

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.” (Genesis 3:4 NKYV)

So, whom are you listening to? Most likely, the number one person you’re listening to is yourself. We feast at the doubt table all too often.

  • I’m not intelligent enough, not artistic enough, and on and on; we surmise we lack the one thing to make it.
  • I’m not the person for this job; it will never work out?
  • I’ve sinned so many times. God will never forgive and accept me.
  • Added to your own thoughts of doom and gloom, your family and friends will question if you’re good enough.

Why not listen to God’s voice? He says;

  • I have plans for you to prosper. (Jeremiah 29:11).
  • You can do all things because I am giving you the strength. (Philippians 4:13).
  • And here is a powerful verse to write out and memorize.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, NKJV)

I recommend the “who” you’re listening to most should be God. Try hearing what God thinks of you for positive results.

God asks, “What?”

Eve, what have you done? A powerful question indeed. Eve deflected the question. Way too many times, we presume we did not hear the question. This question zeros in on our responsibility. It is an exact question, no ambiguity about it. What have you done?

Oh, I get it. I’m responsible for my actions. Ouch!

Admit our sins, mistakes, miscues, and faults to Jesus. The sooner, the better, for fewer regrets we will have.

Of the three questions God posed, this one is the easiest to answer. It’s a three-step process:

1. Acknowledge fault.

2. Seek forgiveness.

3. Ask Jesus to cleanse.

Here it is:

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9, NKJV)

Let’s take the “God Quiz” seriously to keep winning in our Christian walk.

This can be your template for a winning walk with Jesus

Before you forget what you read, take out a sheet of paper, divide it in three columns. Title each column; Where, Who, and What. Under each describe the reality you’re living.

These three questions are God-inspired: Where? Who? What?

It’s your choice, choose well my friend.
