The Supreme Feeling of Oneness
Love is the core of you
By Dr. Gabriella Kőrösi

The question was raised: What does love mean to you? by Robert Ralph and
What is your definition of love by Umme Salma
I have been exploring this topic and interviewing people about this topic for my next book on love and connections during the past two years.
Disclosure: I will also use this article as part of my book and if you like to be part of the conversation and participate, please let me know and I will happily include your comments.
I have been thinking about the questions that were raised by Robert Ralph and Umme Salma. I believe love might be different for every person and the people I talked with about love all defined the meaning of the word and their emotions with variations. What you feel or think love is can be influenced by your personal experiences, upbringing, and belief structure.
I believe love is a complex and also a simple emotion. It is a contradiction I know. We all want to be loved and like to give love to others. It is a good feeling. There are many possibilities for the way people might feel about love.
Love can be shown in many different ways for example being there for someone. Thinking about other people. Caring and supporting other people as well as caring and supporting yourself.
When I think of love, I feel my mind and heart open. I close my eyes and feel the surrounding stillness I can open my heart to see the color of love is a translucent ever-changing fluid that surrounds every living thing.
I believe love gives us limitless possibilities.
Love is everything, it is everywhere, and it is available for everyone. I also believe that love is never-ending support and caring for each other. Love brings joy.
This is how I feel at this particular moment, today. I believe that my thoughts and love are continuously evolving and ever-changing. The basic idea will remain the same. The more and more experiences I have of opening my mind and heart the more I understand and experience love.
I am uncertain if anyone can ever fully explain what love is. I think we can all say what love is for us. I wrote an article recently about meditation practice. This is the way it starts:
“I am love. I am joy. I am gratefulness. My home is stillness.”
I have been practicing this meditation every day multiple times a day for about a month now. It’s been really helpful to send more love out to the world to everyone and every living thing.
Thank you so much for this opportunity, Robert Ralph and Umme Salma for raising the question and starting the conversation about love. I believe love is the main essence of humanity. A code embedded in our genetics. A code we need to strive to live by and embrace.
Could you imagine a world where our main strength is love instead of money, power, or weapons? If we could focus on love imagine a life full of joy, happiness, caring, and support for each other.
May your life and your days be filled with love. I would like to dedicate this article to Dr. Preeti Singh whom I had some wonderful exchanges recently about love, caring and support for each other.
I am sending my love to you,
Thank you for reading,
Gabriella
