The Spirit of Spring in My Soul
Dwelling in the serene oasis blooming in my heart and soul
Colorful blossoms and fresh clear blue skies Pretty signs that spring is here Budding blooms and gentle breezes
Move me, tugging at my inner being, my heartstrings A feeling of awe and gratitude A simple pleasure I cannot ignore
Lifting my spirits as if spring had wings The mild breeze relaxing and calming A feeling so freeing
Moving young branches of a lush green tree Gently brushing my skin as it glides over the leaves A soft flow of air enters my lungs
Inhale spring time’s breath of fresh air A breeze that rejuvenates the soul Refreshes the body and calms the mind
Looking all around me, I am content I take a short stroll along my garden path Admiring the beauty of the pastel colors of spring
Beautifully displayed in my orange and purple birds of paradise Lush green ferns and bright, pretty soft, floral petals Their centers unique and striking, intriguing my soul
Sitting comfortably in my garden behind my home I am enchanted by the beauty and serenity of spring Full of glorious colors reigning in in my heart and soul
A colorful palette of cheer and happiness My heart flutters like flying butterflies When they pause and dance from stunning flower to flower
Listening to the relaxing sounds of water Trickling down from a garden fountain Surrounded by hanging salmon colored hisbiscus
Overhanging and beautifying the trickling water Hypnotized by a small pool of blue water swirling and bubbling Its turquoise colored water, tranquilly accenting my garden ambiance
A sight so peaceful, a feeling of being in paradise The spring breeze continues, as it rustles the mature trees Amused by playful squirrels scurrying up and down these
I watch yellow and green leaves float, swirling to the ground Hearing sweet melodic sounds of happy birds chirping I am so relaxed amid the sights and sounds of my tropical retreat
Surrounded by my scenic view of spring beauty Amplified by the tranquil sensations of the gentle breeze My eyes feel heavy, my breaths slowing
I lie down content and sleepily in my peaceful retreat Immersed in the nature of spring flourishing outside my home Dwelling in the serene oasis blooming in my heart and soul
