The Smartest People Live The Most Lives

Life is a myriad game of perspectives

Life is a game of perspectives.

People who open the doors to more perspectives, live more lives because they get to experience more trains of thoughts.

They put their heads into others experiences. It makes them wiser.

It makes me the dumbest out of everyone I know. LOL.

Smart people are open minded

They are smarter because they can explore different thinking.

This way they listen. Listening allows them to digest the information around them. They filter the useless from the useful.

It is useful because it opens their mind.

This is the same reason why there are no stupid questions.

We all think in different ways. I tend to think that one person can not survive in another persons mind.

They would either get overwhelmed or underwhelmed.

For smart people, they digest it. It may overwhelm or underwhelm them, but it makes them stronger.

The way I see a certain thing is radically different to how you will see it.

Let me explain.

I maxed out an exercise at the gym. I never did it again.

I stopped doing it because I was very good at it.

It might make you think I am mad or something. It cant make sense to you. I don't expect it to.

Now I didn't stop doing it because I want to be challenged and all that I am too good talk. The truth is, I don’t know why.

And this happened on other occasions as well, but this is easiest to tell.

Now this creates a problem.

For me, this is one of the concievable reasons as to why I would stop a certain something. Another reason that is unique to someone else might seem totally stupid to me.

Similarly, questions come from thinking in certain ways. In the same way, there might be no stupid questions — just a thought.

Smart people are learning machines

This is one of the well distributed trait of smart people — the thirst of learning.

When no amount of learning is enough, the sky is the limit.

Learning introduces you to various perspectives. The more people’s perspectives you absorb, the more lives you live. The smarter you become.

A dive into someone’s mind is never a waste of time. Ironically, it tells you more about you. What is acceptable to you, what isn’t?

It shapes your beliefs and values.

What makes us different to each other is how we think. Why wouldn’t you want to know how others think?

How to take a dive into someone else’s mind?

Reading a book by some well known author or reading an article of a random person dictating a 5 am thought (me), both allow you to dive into something new.

Books are more comprehensive. I feel like books are much more of a commitment.

When it comes to articles, you are only signing up for, at most, 10 minutes.

That is what clicks your attention. Books require much more of a mental checklist to be checked before it is bought.

Books really tell you a lot about the other person.

You could easily talk to a person comprehensively and engagingly if you read his book. It is because he has talked about something that especially means a lot to him.

Articles give you snippets and pieces of the cake that is the other persons mind.

Plus we all have our preferences.

Another way to learn more about someone else is simply listening.

Listening tells you more than talking ever could.

You can’t listen enough. If you listen as much as you talk, you will see a massive difference in how you talk.

I saw this difference when I started listening more.

I became quiter.

Here is a secret to all the talkers out there. Listening is addictive.

It is the major procrastinator game in some cases. Just keep absorbing information.

Then comes a time when you are just staring into, well, nothing, looking like a freak. People come to you and say, Everything okay? You sit there like,

Yeah… why?

You look depressed..

And then you have to explain your not depressed, your just listening and its intense and blah blah blah.

That is an interesting downside, but it’s worth it. Trust me.
