When Spyder asked, “What is your favorite season of the year and why is that the case,” I smiled because I have no doubt what my favorite season is. It’s the Spring y’all because I love to dance with the wildflowers and immerse myself into nature while allowing her essence to flow through my soul. It is the season of renewal and love, where I embrace change for my mind, body, and soul.

“Like a wildflower, my heart is free to spread its love and rejoice in the joy and affection that it feels. To partake in a euphoric dance in the Springtime breeze like dandelion seeds. To exude the radiance from the sun like the lovely sunflowers, daffodils, and daisies.” — Melanie J.

I looked back at my articles from last year just to determine what I wrote about at the beginning of March, and sure enough, I wrote about a stroll through a botanical garden here in town. It’s one of my favorite hideaways in Orlando, and whenever I need to escape from the illusions around me, I make my way to this haven and immerse fully into the sanctuary.

So why do I love Spring so much? It’s because it represents rebirth, new beginnings, and change. It’s when mother nature wakes up from her slumber and showers us with her love and abundance. The songbirds are chirping, the butterflies are fluttering, the bees are buzzing, and the fragrant flowers are blooming. And let’s not forget the sun — kissing us sweetly with its loving rays.

That’s right, the cold weather has dissipated, and the sun emerges from behind gray Winter skies, and shines its glorious light while extracting humans and nature from our Winter hibernation. The beauty of Spring triggers a sense of fulfillment, love, and happiness. It is a delight to see the world come alive and experience the joy and positive vibes that it brings. To witness nature’s artwork as she paints her masterpiece laced with her beauty and love.

Just like nature, our lives are cyclical. We ebb and flow with the changing tides, and as with the seasons, our moods and emotions pivot throughout the year. For me, Spring lifts my spirit, like the lotus emerging from the murky water rising to face the beauty of each day — rebirth, renewal, and change.

For some, change can be daunting and scary, but embracing change can create new adventures in our lives. The Spring represents a change in the flow of life, and as I journey, I have grown to resist less and embrace what life brings. And as this quote eloquently states “Spring is a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be.” A reminder that change is inevitable and the only constant, and it is up to us to choose how we welcome change into our lives.

I hope that this Spring, you too will embrace the loving energy sprinkled around you, and will welcome the season of rebirth and love into your life with open arms.
