Welcome to a new week. A week of endings and beginnings. Monday has some issues for those locked into traditional work weeks, but now Monday has a new energetic purpose too. Monday is the day we offer inspiration for your creative side in the form of new prompts. This Monday is no different.

This week we usher in a new month. KTHT warriors span the globe. I believe the only continent not represented is Antarctica, but who knows if one of those researchers there might be a fan also? Because we span the globe, I will not talk about my geocentric concept of seasons, but I know March is associated, for many of us, as the traditional start of a new season. That might be even the hope for spring coming in the northern latitudes, spring in the lower parts, and the start of autumn in the southern hemisphere. This week’s prompts are based on seasonal and energetic change levels.

In Virginia, March means the return of Robins. I haven’t seen one in Florida, but there are different, though more subtle, changes I notice here. There will be a bonus prompt again this week, but don’t get used to them, dear writers and readers. Without further ado, this week’s prompts.

Prompt 1: What changes in nature do you associate with March where you are? There is beauty in all seasons and some of that is in the changes we see.

Prompt 2: What personal changes does March traditionally bring in for you? Some people I know get as early a start on their garden as the soil allows. Other friends used March to clean out the old from house and mind.

Prompt 3: What is your favorite season of the year and why is that the case? My least favorite season of the year at this point of my life is winter, although when I was younger it didn’t bother me as much. A motivator for sure for my move to Florida and my outdoor swimming may make it another favorite soon. It is hard for me to pick between spring and autumn as my favorite, but I will not give it away here.

Prompt 4: What is your present relationship with the concept of change? A famous saying is “The only constant in life is change”. Some people I know change jobs, cities, and even countries many times in their lives. Other people live happily in the area they were born in and have one job and one home in their adult life. There is no right or wrong.

One last popular saying where I am from is March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. I look forward to you roaring into these prompts.

I have not forgotten the bonus prompt. 1 March or March 1 marks International Women’s Day. In celebration of that day, please share with us a woman in your life or from history that should be honored on this special day and tell us why she is so special to you.

A refresher, we don’t have any rules. There are no rules but more prompts will be published next week so to not fall behind keep submitting and looking out for them. Importantly, don’t forget to tag KTHT and one of or all of our editors so that we don’t miss it. We are:
