The One Thing That Would Make My Life Easier

a poem

after my 100th video of watching house tours of gazillion-dollar mansions

I found the one symbol of wealth that explained it all:

the pot filler.

the faucet that appears right over the stove so that you may fill your pot with water with having to do the burdensome task of walking ALL the way to your sink just behind you to begin cooking on the stove.

That would certainly make my life easier.

Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) has gone down the rabbit hole of watching Architectural Digest videos of gazillion-dollar homes. They’re like the new version of MTV cribs (or so everyone keeps repeating to me, lol, I wasn’t allowed to watch the MTV channel as a kid!) It really surprised me how common pot fillers were considering that almost every single kitchen in question had a sink and faucet just … 2 steps over. Truly… something else.

Your turn down the rabbit hole? 🐰🕳
