In the sight of the creator, the universe, we are all valuable and equal. Nobody is bigger and better than their fellow.
But, in worldly dimensions, it’s different.
How is that possible? What happened?
What’s differentiating us from each other?

How Our differences came about
We’re called to manage the earth — Genesis 2:5. As each person is a manager per biblical account, your role in creation makes you different from your fellow.
Say me being a writer, public speaker, and educator, and you are a medical practitioner. That’s what draws the line between us. But as some people aren’t doing more in life, society has created another distinction— first class, second, and third class depending on how you’re doing not only for yourself but for others.
If you’re keen on this, you’ll notice what differentiates people is nothing more than how they’re doing in life. It’s all about the value you create for people, and that’s how we measure ourselves.
So, how do I become valuable is the question you’ll ask, I know, and here’s your answer.
Make yourself valuable, become a problem solver
To be recognized in the world and regarded as necessary is providing value for people.
How do you, therefore, provide value for others and be regarded?
It’s that simple. Become a problem solver. Identify problems people are facing and solve them. And how you do that is to discover who you are, which is in the area of your gifting.
There’re so many problems that have engulfed us as a people. And when you identify an area that you can help make better, people will gravitate towards you. They’ll be willing to be with you. They’ll never let you go when they find out that you’re the answer to their problem. On top of it, they’ll be willing to pay you even if you’re not demanding money. And that’s by the power of problem-solving. And it’s what makes people allow you to stay in their lives.

Being good enough is great, but constantly improving is greater
You’re creating value for people, and they’re counting you in any situation, and that’s good.
But, to still keep being that person is to commit to continuous and never-ending improvement.
Why? Because the world is changing every day. New things are happening and coming while the already existing ones are becoming obsolete.
The key, therefore, to keep being a person people count on is to work on yourself and keep being valuable constantly. How you do it is to read and educate yourself in your specialty every day, making sure you’re alongside with happenings and changing trends in the field. And with this, you’ll understand why some people are educated and valuable today, and tomorrow they’re useless.
It’s because of the lack of continuous education, and that’s not what you want to happen to you.
So, to keep being beneficial to the world, you’ll have to keep educating and refining yourself. That’s the primary key. Anything away from it won’t help you make it.

Humility is your ultimate fortress
How do you stand out from the lots when everyone is valuable and regarded?
How do you stay counted in and not out when people can do equally what you do?
What’s the thing that’ll differentiate you from everyone when the competition is tough in the marketplace?
The answer is humility. You see, as human beings, we have what’s called pride — ego. And how you make people feel makes a big difference in everything.
You can have all the gifts and talents in the world, do and be everything people want you to do and be. But, the moment you allow arrogance to come into the picture, you’re lost. People will ignore you despite your value and the problems you solve for them and move with someone who makes them feel worthy despite having a little talent to yours.
So, in all your doings, you want to make humility lead. You want to be humble like the preacher talks about, as that’ll seal the deal for you.

Being average isn’t a good thing. Get out of that space
By our limited vision of ourselves, some people have accepted that who they are is all they can be. They can’t see themselves being something more than they are. Which is worrying if you look at it.
But is that their fault someway somehow? No. Society did that to them.
I’ve suffered from it. You have suffered from it. All of us have suffered from it.
But is it helping us? No. So, we should get out. And how you get out of this prison is to accept that you’re made for more and can change.
Research has indicated that our personalities aren’t permanent, and whoever we are can be changed. And it’s true because if it isn’t, then people like myself shouldn’t be writing and be called a writer because I didn’t start this way. I have only primary education. No university degree or a Ph.D., but I’m now a writer, working my way up to become a public speaker and a coach as well.
How did it all happen?
It’s because of the belief that I’m made for more and deserve more. And by that belief system, I started working my way around. As a result, people read my articles and get their lives transformed. The world is counting me in and not out, unlike yesterday when people rejected me because I was serving no purpose in their lives. And it’s because I sought to leave the average life behind, do something valuable for the world, and it’s the best thing you can do for yourself, too. Refuse to be average. You’re made of more.

Final thoughts
You’re already worthy. God, the universe, put a value on you from birth.
The only problem is that you haven’t discovered this truth about yourself because nobody has taught you.
But that’s ok. I have revealed it to you, and you know it now.
So, are you still going to remain the person you’ve been all these years that hasn’t helped you become valuable to the world, or you’ll do something about yourself and become who you’re born to be?
I guess I need not worry anymore because the answer is with you. But, whatever you’ll decide, the only way to be counted by people and not rejected is to make yourself a solution and solve problems for people.
That’s the only way. Bear it in mind.
