When you’re low, look high, you find me Waiting with two gloves to box life with I light the way, you stomp the way Within thee, I lie and wait All you have to do is seek Earnestly seek, a tear, gentle cry, prayer Even a tiny little whisper, gets my attention I’m just waiting, you want all that is good I want all that is the best for you I will send a teacher, preacher, stranger Even a child I send, to heal your pain, Illuminate your path, soothe your aching heart Dry up your tears, fulfill your dreams Exhale your loneliness, breathe in comfort Even while low, give you tools to help another Seed, time and harvest, my grace is sufficient It doesn’t matter what you’re going through My arms await to gently pull you through Leap, I’m waiting to catch you As you fly, I hold you up as you soar like an eagle High above you fly, landing like a champion Like Joseph, from the dungeon to the palace Like Ruth, from rags to riches Like Paul, from torment to peace Like Eve, from shame to forgiveness Like Thomas, from doubt to belief Like Peter, with faith walking on water Like birds, bees, trees, animals, I clothe them too Whatever state you find yourself in be content And know that I am yet God and has no respect of person Black, brown, white, red, I created all, to be childlike If you have a need, don’t fret, try me and be free Don’t Count Me Out, I’m on the case, with Grace, this race.
