The Fiery Furnace
How life circumstances may surround, but not burn
“…walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt;…” (Daniel 3:24).
The Fiery Furnace
Each life is unique and contained Some days it pours mountains of rain Some days the sun shines all so bright With all you touch, being so right When days are barren, dreary, and dark Your back feels broken, you’re stuck in park Trying to drive forward, sadness pulls you back You’re in the Fiery Furnace, God’s got your back Like Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego was under attack They stood in the fire, and not a scorch or burn God stepped in, protected each way they turn They stood their faith, it showed them the way Life was bleak and barren, this unique day But when tomorrow arose, their statue was high For God fought their battle, without a sigh Stand in the fiery finance, and know it can’t burn As long as you know God and wait your turn The fire will smolder, the smoke will cease For this too shall pass, onto another season Just note you’re the better, from this you reason The Fiery Furnace maybe all you’ve got But know with God’s help, it ain’t so hot.
