The Next Time I Visit Korea, I Am Doing This!
There’s no doubt about it.

Last time I visited South Korea was in 2018. We stayed in Myeong-dong and boy, was I in heaven. There are plenty of things to do in Myeong-dong, but what made me the happiest were the skincare shops! The entire street was lined with them. I didn’t even know which one to go in first.
I was exhilarated, yet overwhelmed at the same time. Aside from the shops, there were also salons and spas. I did try to get an appointment at the hotel, but I didn’t book early enough. I ended up getting a facial at another spa.
Here’s the story if you want to read about my experience.
Can you guess where this is leading?
The next time I visit South Korea, I’m going for a crazy skincare regime! I don’t care how long it takes and how much it costs. Okay, I won’t be spending thousands of dollars. But if it’s reasonable, I will pay for it.
I won’t get plastic surgery, if that’s what you’re thinking. What I will get is a full spa day. I’m open to laser or other non-invasive procedures to get rid of pesky skin problems. It’s also ok if my face looks like an angry tomato when I come out of the spa. I am all for the experience and results!
They really have perfected skincare to its best. Besides getting a full spa day for my face? I’ll also bring a separate luggage and fill it with skincare that will last me for many months. No joke.
Does that sound like a good plan to you?
