As the CEO’s assistant, Emily worked tirelessly, gaining his trust and respect.

She rapidly moved up the corporate ladder, and when the board turned against him, she stepped up, becoming CEO. Even after he was demoted, she kept him close, feeling indebted to him.

As time passed, his incompetence became glaringly apparent. Emily continued to support him out of loyalty. Until one day, she discovered his betrayal — secretly plotting against her.

With a heavy heart, she dismissed him, recognizing that true loyalty lies not in past favors, but in unwavering integrity.

She realized her debt had been repaid long ago.
