The Moment it Finally, Clicked
There is no better feeling than the moment you realise what it’s all for

Everyone probably has that moment.
For the ones with children, it was the first moment they saw them. It was for me at least.
That moment when it finally clicked.
This is the easy answer.
When I saw my children for the first time I realised that it wasn’t about me anymore it was about them.
It was about me stepping up and providing a life for them, like the one I had. Good, stable and without worry.
It wasn’t until a few years later that in the moment, it finally clicked.
I have always been good with numbers. They are my thing.
After University I got a job working for a small organisation as a Bookkeeper and then an Accountant.
I moved around jobs, getting experience in all industires but mainly looked at how businesses ran and ultimately made money.
It was simple.
Offer a product or service and sell it.
How could it possibly be that simple?
Why do you need so many people doing so many things?
It worked.
The second thing I did was to get a mentor and learn.
I got chatting to the head of IT at one of these companies and spoke to him about designing a CRM as our software was dead.
I had no experience of programming but he talked me though what you would need to do and it didn’t seem so unobtainable.
He then told me if I did do this I could sell it to someone else.
That is the moment that it finally clicked.
Come up with an idea.
Something someone wants or needs and sell it to them.
I didn’t need to work solely for a company or devote all my time to my boss.
I had to get smart and start working for myself. Think of new ways to earn an income.
Shortly after this I learned how to day trade.
This changed my life and my financial outlook, forever.
Now it doesn’t need to stop at day trading.
I can write e-books, pdfs, write about it online, post on X, post on Instagram, run affiliate programs and god forbid, sell a course.
If you learn a skill, it is unique to you. Your take on it is unique as long as you don’t spend all your time following the herd.
Make your own path in this life and open as many doors as you possibly can.
Don’t settle for a salary. While it is fine to earn a wage, do more.
The internet has opened up so many possibilities for us to learn, grow and earn an income.
All we need is a laptop, internet connection and a desire. Maybe even only need a phone and an internet connection.
There will be something you are good at or have a passion for.
My good friend loves to gamble on a Saturday. He places 2 bets every Saturday morning on football matches.
One of these bets is well researched and thought out. He takes time analysisng and picks teams with a lot of care.
The other bet is a bit outrageous and extremely long odds.
He wins his first bet about 75% of the time and the long odds bet about 3 times a year.
Last year he made £37,800 and spent around £1,080.
This is all tax free in the UK.
He started a Twitter and Instagram about his bets and on X has 87,425 followers at the time of writing this and 43,201 followers on Instagram.
Been offered sponsorships on his Instagram and some girl offered him £500 for 10 re-tweets.
My good friend has since started a paid discord group with about 85 members who pay him £5 a month for tips and insights into his bets.
That’s £425 a month for doing something he likes to do and would do anyway.
I am a part-time day trader and work full time in finance.
In the end I make good money from both but there is so much more I can do online.
There is also so much more you can do. You just need to want to do it.
