The Meaning of The Dragon

Taming Your Inner Dragon(s) For Growth, Not Destruction

I had a crazy dream recently that left me with insights and wisdom.

I was in some small village surrounded by mountains. Out of nowhere this gigantic dragon appeared and started invading the place. Houses crumbled as it roared overhead.

Made with the help of Midjourney.

I panicked and tried to run away as it chased me through winding alleys. I ducked into an old barn, hoping it didn’t spot me.

But those huge reptilian eyes peered in, searching for their target. Certain I was dragon food, I just surrendered instead of resisting.

I opened myself fully to its massive power. Our energies merged until we were one.

After I woke up, it hit me — this beast represented some primal part of myself I had long suppressed.

That fiery confidence and ambition I was too afraid to embrace.

Made me realize I gotta befriend these inner monsters rather than always repressing them. Can’t let them take over, but banishing them doesn’t work either.

Since i started with Kung Fu (Wing Chun), such dreams are appearing more often. I will not hold my insights back.
