It’s Time for Me to Write From the Heart, Again

I’m sitting down today to write from a place of renewal. My well of inspiration had gone dry for a while. (Around 3 months!)

I was creating from my head, not my heart and soul.

My writing had grown forced, fueled by desires of validation and growth rather than passion. Chasing stats and clicks, I lost touch with my core. But that space gave me room for self-inquiry.

In my obsession to grow my readership, I lost sight of my true purpose. My message became muddled in what would sell rather than what would serve.

But an intense period of inner work has recentered me.

Sure, I want my words to spread — but from a pure intention. To gift insights that jolt minds. Kindle forgotten light in hearts. Help humanity remember who we are, why we’re here.

Not through complexity or analysis. Our world has enough of that. I want to distill truths into their essence — simple, clear, luminous. Let these drops quench thirsty souls.

I write for those who feel lost and weary, burned by the fire of seeking. To guide them inward, where answers dwell. To help awaken us all from illusion.

I see more clearly through society’s games that had distracted me. Immersive spiritual practices at a transformative kung fu retreat and many hours of training dissolved more of my assumptions. Long meditations awakened deeper wisdom to share. My priorities now feel clarified.

Now I yearn to write from the heart, not for metrics. To offer insights that can jolt readers awake, provide solace, inspire authenticity. Simple truths, told compassionately.
