Everyone finds happiness in something in life. There are people who are happy sitting on a beach and watching the waves crash against the shoreline. There are some who are happy doing the work that they enjoy in life, whether it is working at the same job or managing their own enterprise. There are some who feel happy when they visit the country they love, taste the food they enjoy and spend time with the people they love. While there are some who enjoy dancing, singing, painting or cycling or fishing or making pottery. Everybody has something that they enjoy doing and it makes them happy.

The meaning of happiness for me is a blend of so many things. I am always amazed at creation, every morning when I rise. I know that there is a mission that I must complete every day and that by simply living and enjoying every day, while being present for friends and family, makes me happy.

The changing seasons have always seemed like a miracle to me. I love the way in which one season follows another, it is like a continuous cycle. It is all explained in science, but I like to observe all these cycles in nature with the innocence of a child. Spring, summer, autumn and winter also reflect the same patterns in our lives, as the young get old and pass on and the new adults rise to take their place. This magical cycle of souls continues and has done since the dawn of creation and knowing the importance of life on earth makes me feel happy.

Since childhood I have always loved receiving a new comic book or watching a movie. The world of stories and storytelling has always fascinated me, this is a result of my parents always telling me stories every night. I still enjoy watching a new movie and seeing a story come to life on the screen. I still love reading a new comic book, that tells a story, with beautiful graphics, in such a wonderful way.

I am happiest when I am writing and putting my thoughts together in poems, stories or in articles. Happiness for me as a writer, means that I have an opportunity to experience life every day while blending who I am as an individual and writer into my literary works for the rest of my life.
