As the Dow Jones Industrials roared to a new all-time high, John became an instant millionaire after 38 years of investing.
His name suddenly went viral on every Tik-Tok reel or Tweet. His family had no peace.
Everyone wanted to know his secret, while many wanted to introduce themselves as long-lost relatives. As if he had hit the lottery, everyone wanted a piece of the pie — even though none had offered to help bake it.
All at once, a stock market crash wiped out their fortune. He and his family found peace once again.
Success is fleeting.
The Dow Jones Industrials are a stock market index of 30 prominent companies in the USA.
A drabble is exactly 100 words, no more, no less. In this case, the random word to build the story around is “industrial.”
