The Let Go

A poem about the heartbreak, breadcrumbing, ghosting and lack of regard in the realm of online dating.

Photo by Gabriel Benois on Unsplash

Vague crumbs of love the pull, then the push the pause... then the pull again then nothing? the ghost… the silence, eardrum bursting damage in the wake melancholy, heart stabbing, grief When will it stop, so I have relief? I hit "unmatch". The deed is done. Let, the "let go" begin.
