“Gremgor, we must split up to cover ground faster.”

The orc snorts. “No, we stay together.”

“Look. The Wizard’s Fire won’t last forever!”

Gremgor grunts and, eventually, slowly nods. “You careful.”

“You too, my friend,” you say, grateful he understood. “I’ll go left, and you go right.”

Gremgor’s thick brows furrowed. “Still not like.”

“Me too, but time is running out.”

Reluctantly, you both venture down your separate paths.

Shortly after entering the left tunnel, your mind plays cruel tricks. The walls creep closer, and doubt taints your thoughts as you grapple between reality and illusion.
