The last normal thing I did
A Poem
Might have been my birthday haircut, might have been taking my daughter with me
To this rare event, this spoiling of sorts, this me having a day to Do something that really feels frivolous I suppose, feels too fancy
And I remember it, being there, the organic salon, the special care And my daughter on a stool watching, and making tik tok videos
Of the space the place the hair on the ground the sounds of Scissors and small talk
This just might have been the last normal thing we did The shampoo I bought on this special day this birthday gift
Is gone now I smell the bottle of rosemary mint before sadly
Throwing it away.
