The Kobold Quest (part 3)
The quest concludes

As the last kobold flops to the ground, the three rams charge down the hillside towards the flock. The farmer, realizing what has happened, begins to hurry towards you.
Meanwhile, you take a moment to search the surroundings. The kobolds have been accumulating a small amount of loot in their cave. Pushing aside their stinking rags and chewed bones, you find:
a silver dagger (+0 to brawn)
12 silver pieces
a 20-foot ropeYou then check on the shepherd boy, and are shocked to find that he is still alive. The smell must be from several rotten sheep carcasses that are lying nearby. The boy now moans softly, and turns his head to the side.
Just then, the farmer arrives.
“The kid is hanging on,” you say.
The farmer nods, frowning, then pulls another of his herbal tinctures from his smock, and pours it between the boy’s lips. The boy coughs, and his eyes open. He sits up. He’s in bad shape, bruised and bloodied, but he will live — thanks to your heroics.
You gain:
15 silver pieces from the farmer;
+1 to your reputation score.Well done for making the foothills of the Trollkiller Mountains a safer place!
When you descend the hillside, the grateful villagers feed you on some warm broth, and offer you a free room for the night. You take up their offer and rest well, fully regaining your strength for the trials ahead at no cost.
They also gift you rations of dried mutton. After the smell of rotten sheep, you don’t find it very appealing — but someday it might save your life.
Restore your health stat to its maximum (uninjured) level.You gain:
Trail rations (2).But an adventurer cannot stay in comfort forever. The next morning, as the sun is rising over the hills to the east, you set out back to the guildhall to find your next quest.
