The Kingdom And Its Glory
A poem on papyrus
King called upon his ministers expressing a desire “How can we increase the longevity of the kingdom and its glory”
They searched their libraries Some went on their expeditions One minister seeks a request to meet the oldest of the old sages to possess a real wisdom and not just a collective figment
The sage answered, “The great ancestors had a desire to let the coming generations know What they discovered, From sign language to cave pictures Gradually moving to the oral dictions Each generation experimented How to pass on became a question of great importance”
The sage pulled out a scroll, made of papyrus “Look at this scroll closely It is the sign they finally succeeded They wrote their mystical findings to allow us to understand their enormous discoveries”
The minister took the scroll Announced in the cabinet “This sheet is made from Cyprus revealing the great intent of ancestors this is how we can increase the longevity, Hail The Kingdom and its glory.”
Humble Cyprus evolved into papyrus Became a great blessing In passing on long lost information The glories, the failures of the mightiest.
