Prompt challenge
The Saga of Nirvana
A soulful poem

Curious since childhood When the mythical TV series Echoed ‘Nirvana’ While we gulped the food
Nirvana or Moksha A mysterious terminology I dug deeper, out of curiosity Giving chills to the parents Their girl going out of the bonds
Nirvana- an ever eluded word A mystical charm An uncanny aura swarmed No lace of words sufficed No explanations worked Books became my only refuge
Nirvana- a sparkling dream Till I operated through the unconscious Nirvana- an awakened reality For all the enlightened
Enlightened!? - Oh no, not again, No new terms, no new philosophy The superfluous game of word-ology No theory would suffice I wandered everywhere
Till I met my beloved master who opened the higher portals Now what Nirvana, what enlightened No desire and no ‘me’ remained
The one who wanted it Dissolved in the journey The one left behind is already merged with thee.
