Opinions

  • The author uses the Himalayan Vulture as a metaphor for the power of nature and the struggle of words to convey meaning.
  • The poem suggests a dynamic relationship between the vulture and the words, with the words actively resisting their consumption.
  • The vulture's actions in the poem could be interpreted as a representation of the cycle of creation and destruction inherent in nature and art.
  • The final line of the poem adds an emotional layer, hinting at a narrative of loss and survival within the vulture family.
  • The presentation of other poems indicates the author's pride in his work and an invitation for readers to engage with a broader collection of his poetry.

The Himalayan Vulture

A Poem

There she comes, The Himalayan Vulture into this poem

She is eating each word, Words are screaming in silence

One word lost its leg, limping towards the outer space

Few words are jumping out of the poem for a hideout

Bleeding in blue, few are hiding behind the last sentence of this poem

Vulture is marching closer to the last sentence;

Last sentence of the poem is trying to fight back the Vulture by sharpening each word like a sword;

“It was an intense battle and we won” the above sentence is the last line of the poem says the mother Vulture to her chick about the missing dad.
