The Great Divide
A reckoning of time
What if I told you the confines of time are outside the grasping of your hands and mine.
That time, in its essence, has never existed created, it was, because humans insisted —
on marking its passage, as moments pass by in futile avoidance of life’s great divide. Released from the present and dead to the past, future uncertain, as time counts its last —
…withering tick of each time clock allotted, for death is aware of the time he’s been slotted.
Defined by the one who stands outside of time, the future he holds in his hands, yours and mine.
