The Golden Key
Your treasure awaits
The golden key unlocks the gates But do you dare to tempt the fates? Your warriors must prepare to fight To win the war they’ll face this night And hold that which so captivates
The wealth of nation’s now awaits For those who win the long debates It’s said it is a wondrous sight The gold key
The lure will be what generates The thrill to be who dominates But only one will gain the right To see the treasure’s golden light It’s meant for he who operates The Golden Key
This is a poetry form called a Rondeau. 3 stanzas, 15 lines. One of my favorites. Thank you again Amy Marley. I’m having a ball doing these daily posts for the month of May. I did the last prompt “key”. I never was one to do things in order. LOL
