Red Door

#5 of 31 Days of May Prompts from SCWBI – A Haiku

One of many doors that catch my eye — the location I can’t recall

I see a red door

The stones on the radio

Have to paint it black

I love looking at old doors.

I imagine the stories they could tell. The people, animals and things that have gone through them.

I love the Rolling Stones song “Paint in Black” so this prompt ticked a couple of boxes for me. Happy days.

“Red Door” – today’s prompt from the 31 days of May challenge being run by SCBWI West (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) …if anybody feels like participating, join in as you please.

Christine Graves has been joining in the fun. Recommend her entertaining interpretations of the prompts “First Cup of the Day” and “Listen” (this one gave me a chill!)
