The Game of Life

What decisions would you make?

If life was a game, how would you play it? Would you go till the end, or give up and quit? If you rolled the dice and moved back to the start, Would you brush it off, or take it to heart?

If life was a game, would you push on through, The obstacles in your way, whether many or a few? Would you hope and expect, to reach the end fast, Or take your own time, and make the moment last?

Would you choose a path of least resistance, Or test the limits of your perseverance? How would you react to a sudden surprise, With disappointment or happy eyes?

If you rolled and had to miss a turn, Would you patiently wait, or would your stomach churn? If your friend moves ahead, oh what would you do, Feel joyful for him or let the anger stew?

The game of life is never simple or easy, Just when you get it, you start feeling queasy; If ever you feel, like love and hope is gone, Remember, the night is darkest before dawn.

The game could end at any given hour, So, while you are playing don’t be sour; Life isn’t about the numbers you roll, But how well you play your given role.
