The Final Verdict
After considerable deliberation
Random word drabble 88: “considerable”

The jury had already spent considerable time deliberating on their verdict for the trial, so the sudden introduction of new evidence would just add to that … or so the foreperson thought.
Instead, the video surveillance tape proved to be the tipping point that helped two undecided jurors make their decision in line with the rest of their colleagues.
Now that all jurors were finally in agreement, the foreperson handed a note to the court officer to advise the judge that a verdict had been reached.
On receiving the note the judge invited the jury to return to the courtroom.
