If you’re not familiar with The Far Side (or it never made any sense), here’s a classic scene from Cheers to bring you up to speed: “Norm & Cliff Explain the Far Side to Woody”
If he’d gone the way of Bobby Fischer and disappeared with those three comics, maybe the mystery of his genius would have lingered in his place. But he’s since continued to release comics with more clues than ever.
The irony is that he already explained everything way back in 1994.
“The truth must finally be told,” Larson said. “I never really knew what I was doing.”
