An explosion?!
You dodge a falling tree before it crushes you.
“You there…,” a small, sturdy man with a thick beard says.
You cringe, fearing danger. But this man is no threat. He is dying. A bloody knife protrudes from his ribcage, and the explosion blinded him.
“Bring this to the elven queen before they breach the fourth wall.”
“A rubber duck?”
“This caoutchouc figurine hides the dwarven prince’s letter. Hurry! Assassins follow me.”
