You smile at Lord Diabolus, irritating him with your reaction.

“Perfect timing, indeed,” you say, “Right on time to tell you of the intruder that killed your guard.”

“Is that so?” Lord Diabolus answers your smile, letting his knife scratch over the length of a wooden table while slowly approaching you.

“Yes! He is about to breach your doors!”

“The enemy of your enemy is your friend, right?”

Too late, you realise how close he got, and slip on the bloody floor when you try to run.

Lord Diabolus is fast. He pins you down and begins his bloody work.

You are dead.
