It was the 1920’s and the party was alive, Daisy May danced the Charleton and a jive, She excused herself to freshen herself up, She got lost in the mansion, all out of luck.
Daisy May vanished without a word, Never again to be seen or heard, You see she stumbled through the wrong door, Lost in time forevermore.

Medieval England was Sir Caldwelle’s home, He fought for his country and for the throne, He went to visit a dear old friend, Only to never be seen again.
The enchanted doorway comes and goes, Appears at different times, in different homes. The gateway between past and present, Bringing characters good and not-so pleasant.

2023, Ellis is minding his own, Suddenly he heard a high pitch moan, Looking around, he found several strange faces, All in different attire of times and places.
“Good sir, could you tell me where I happen to be?” Sir Caldewelle asked Ellis, unhappily. “I fell through a door”, Daisy May said, confused. Ellis thought perhaps he ought to ring up the news.
Along with the knight and the flapper of old, Were dozens of others from time’s fold. A soldier from the 40’s covered in dirt, A muscular Viking with threats to cause hurt.

“How did you all come to be in my flat?” Ellis asked, wondering if they had the answer to that. “The enchanted doorway of course”, said a man with a great white beard. “For I’m the great wizard who brought us here”.
“Why did you do this?” cried the Victorian maid. “I must return, there are men to be slaid!” Declared the Viking, as the Roman agreed. “I brought you here because of great need!”
Was the wizard’s response to the group’s calls for answers, “Why are we here?” asked the cha-cha dancers. “To remind the world of times gone by”, The wizard said, with a deep sad sigh.

“The world has forgotten history and will let it repeat. We must not let them sow what they reap”, The wizard said softly, his warning quite dire. “For they would set the whole world on fire”.
So, the wizard gave them all new lives to live here, Where their lessons of old might give the world fear, Of repeating history and ancient mistakes, Not royals once again saying “Let them eat cake!”
